I stumbled accross a new site from Japan that helps you find Japanese pen pals. This is the Hello Penpal of Kawasaki International Culture Exchange Association. This site specializes in finding pen pals from Japan.

With their free service you get a weekly email with a Japanese Pen Pal listing. You will get the list two times per month. How about getting a wonderful pen pal from crazy parts of Japan.
There is the Weekly Japanese Mail Pen Pal - This is the penpal list to find Japanese penpals. You can receive it two times per month. There are a lot of listed Japanese penpals and penpals from around the world on it.

A BBS for people seeking Japanese Pen Pals - This is the BBS to seek for penpals. Post your message to make Japanese penpals or if you find penpals your favorite on it, click the small envelope icon to know their email address and mail to them. You can post your message from both cellular phone and PC.

A BBS for people who speak Japanese and are seeking Penpals - You can talk with Japanese people in Japanese language if your computer read and write Japanese. If not, post your message in Romaji(the Latin alphabet).
